Biography for Roger A. Javens
Roger's spiritual gift and passion is teaching the word of God. Roger taught single adults at Champion Forest Baptist Church from 1988-2006. He now teaches Perspectives Exposure at Houston's First Baptist Church. God has specifically called him to mobilize Christians for world missions and in obedience to that call founded Let's Go Ministries in January 2004. Roger has both led and participated in mission trips to Washington, DC; east Tennessee; Guadalajara, Mexico; Mexico City, Mexico; Valence, France; Malindi, Kenya; San Pedro Sula, Honduras; San Jose, Costa Rica and Palencia, Guatemala; Cappadocia, Turkey, Aweil, Sudan and Roxas City, Philippines. Roger is the Manager of Technical Marketing for the StorageWorks Division at Hewlett Packard and has traveled extensively worldwide to train both customers and internal personnel on HP's storage products. He married Jennifer Christian on April 7th, 2007.
